A. K. International

Our place is located at No. 1384 in Chatta Rajan, right in the Farash Khana area. It’s an old part of the city, and things can get pretty crowded in these narrow streets. We go by A. K. International, which sounds a bit bigger than we actually feel on a daily basis. Most of the time, we are just busy managing the stuff that comes in and out of this small space. The building has been around for a long time, and you can see that in the walls and the way the doors creak. We spend a lot of our hours just sorting through things and keeping track of what is going on. It’s noisy outside with the rickshaws and people walking by all the time, but inside, we just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it tough to work, but we just keep at it. We’ve been at this Farash Khana spot for quite a bit, so the neighbors know us. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist here. You just walk in and find us working. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything gets handled properly. It’s simple work, really. We just show up, do what needs doing, and close up at the end of the day. It is how things have always been for us at 1384 Chatta Rajan.
