British Engineering Co is right in the heart of Old Delhi, specifically in Faiz Ganj Bazar. Our address is Sirkiwalan Hauz Qazi 5008. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how narrow the lanes are and how much history is packed into every corner. We have been around for a long time, dealing with tools, hardware, and engineering parts. The shop is small and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with metal bits, bolts, and machinery stuff. It smells like iron and old oil in here. We don’t have a website or fancy ads. Most people find us because they have been coming here for years or someone told them we had a specific part they couldn't find anywhere else. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and counting out pieces for customers. The streets outside are always full of carts, rickshaws, and people shouting. It’s noisy and dusty, but that’s just how Hauz Qazi is. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next person to walk in. We don’t use any corporate talk.
