Black Stallion Cookware Pvt. Ltd. is at B-74 on G.T. Karnal Road. We are in the Azadpur Industrial Area, which is a very crowded part of town. You can hear the roar of the trucks on the highway all day and night. We make cookware here, so the building is full of the smell of metal and the sound of presses hitting sheets of aluminum or steel. It’s a noisy place, and it’s usually quite warm because of the machines. We have different sections for cutting, shaping, and then polishing the pots and pans. Our office is a small room tucked away from the main floor so we can actually hear ourselves speak. We spend most of our time looking at samples and making sure the handles are fitted right. It’s a messy business, and our clothes usually have some oil or metal dust on them by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be fancy here. The building is old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the machines are what matter. We have a crew of workers who know exactly how much pressure to use on the metal. It’s a busy life, and we usually have our lunch together in the small break area. It’s just about making good pans that people can actually use in their kitchens. We don’t do anything too complicated, just stick to what we know.
