We are based at 120 New Qutab Road in Sadar Bazar. If you have ever been to Sadar, you know it is the heart of all the trading in the city. We deal in crockery like plates, bowls, and glasses. Our place is usually filled up with wooden crates and cardboard boxes stacked everywhere. We have to be really careful with everything because it is all so fragile. One wrong move and something expensive breaks into pieces. We sell to a lot of small shops from other towns and also to local families who want to buy in bulk for a wedding or a new house. It is a lot of heavy lifting and packing things into straw and paper. The air in the shop is always full of the sound of packing tape and boxes being dragged across the floor. We have been in this same spot for decades now. The building is old and the stairs are quite narrow and steep. We know our customers very well. Many of them have been buying from us since my father was the one running the place. We do not do any big advertising or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by wandering through the market on their own. It is a tough environment because it is always so crowded and hot, but we are used to it. We just try to make sure every order gets delivered without any cracks. It is a simple business.
