Working out of 244 Hakikat Nagar in the Kingsway Camp area of New Delhi is an experience. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s full of students and busy professionals. Our office is a proprietor firm run by Beena Shah. It’s not a fancy glass building. It’s a practical space in a row of other small offices and houses. We have the usual stuff you’d expect—computers that hum a bit too loudly, stacks of files that need filing, and a clock that’s five minutes fast. The neighborhood is always on the move. Being near Kingsway Camp means there’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite, but it also means parking is a nightmare. We mostly take the bus or walk. Inside the office, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have formal meetings with slides. We just sit around the main desk and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes for an hour, and we just use that time to catch up on paperwork by hand. It’s a very human way of doing business. We know our clients by name, and they know where to find us. It’s about being reliable and showing up every morning to get through the pile of work on the desk. No more, no less.
