Avee Motors

Avee Motors is located at 3046, Kalyan Singh St. in Ram Bazar. This is right in the Mori Gate area, which is famous for anything related to vehicles. Our shop is tucked into a busy street where there’s always someone loading or unloading a truck. We deal with motor parts and engine components. It’s a lot of lifting heavy boxes and checking part numbers against old catalogs. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to get what a customer needs. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working parts shop. There are stacks of gaskets and pistons everywhere you look. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in off the street. We get all sorts of people coming in, from mechanics looking for a specific bolt to truck drivers who need to get back on the road. We try to help them out as quickly as we can. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a second to sit down on a crate and breathe. It’s a noisy, dusty place but it has a rhythm to it that we've grown to like over the years. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the chaos of Mori Gate anymore. We just focus on the parts and the people who need them.
