Atam Ram Kishan Chand

Atam Ram Kishan Chand is located right in the middle of the busy Ajmeri Gate market. We’ve been at 4631 for a long while now. It gets pretty crowded around here with all the shops and people moving back and forth, but we like the energy. It is a family thing, passed down, and we just keep it going day by day. Most days start early before the heat gets too bad. We handle a lot of different things depending on what folks are looking for when they walk through the door. It isn’t a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere, but it works for us and our regulars know where to find us. Sometimes the street gets blocked by deliveries, so you have to be patient if you’re coming by. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the inventory and how things work. Usually, there is some tea going and someone is talking about the prices of materials. We try to keep things organized but in a small space in the Bazar, that is always a bit of a challenge. You see the same faces every week. It is just honest work, really. We don’t spend time on fancy websites or big ads. We just open up the shutters, deal with the suppliers, and make sure people get what they paid for. It’s noisy and dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is at Ajmeri Gate.
