If you walk through Prahlad Market in the Badli Industrial Area, you’ll find us tucked away near DB Gupta Road. We’ve been operating out of 95A for a while now. The area is always noisy with the sounds of workshops and traffic. Inside our place, it’s mostly about appliances. We deal with all sorts of machines that people use in their homes. Some days the floor is covered with parts and tools because someone brought in a fridge or a washing machine that stopped working. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually a bit greasy by lunch. We don't have a big corporate office or people in suits. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. People come to us when their stuff breaks down or when they need something new for their kitchen. We try to keep a variety of things in stock, though the space gets cramped pretty quickly. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight when things get stressful. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s been our routine for years, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of this market. We stay busy until late evening most days.
