Apsara Herbal Beauty Parlour

This little beauty parlour is tucked away at 31 A in Shalimar Bagh. It is a place where we do things a bit differently, using herbal stuff mostly. The shop isn't very big, but we have made it cozy with what we have. There are always different smells in the air, like sandalwood or rose water, because of the pastes and creams we mix up. We don't have those big expensive machines you see in the malls. Instead, we use our hands and simple tools. It is mostly local women from the neighborhood who come by. They come in for threading or a basic facial, and we usually end up talking about their families or what they are cooking for dinner. The curtains are a bit faded from the sun, but they keep the place private. We have a small mirror in the front and a larger one in the back where the main work happens. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. We started this because we liked working with natural ingredients, and people seem to appreciate that. Sometimes the doorbell sticks a little, so you have to give it a good push. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after each person to keep everything tidy. It is just a small, local business run by people who live right here in the area. We have been at this location for years now.
