We are located in the Suryadeep Building over in Ram Nagar, Shahdara. Specifically, we’re at Shop No 17 in A Block on Street No 1. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a good spot for Application Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd. We are a small setup. We mostly deal with various engineering parts and providing technical help when someone has a problem with their machinery. The shop is filled with catalogs and spare parts. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of our time talking to customers who come in looking for specific solutions for their shops or factories. Sometimes we have to order things in, which takes a few days. We’ve been in Shahdara for a long time and we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit community. We don’t do a lot of advertising. People usually just know we are here if they need something engineered or fixed. It’s a basic business, really. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s how we’ve always done it, and we don’t see any reason to change things now. We just like to get the work done and see the machines running again for our neighbors. Most days we close up right as the sun starts to set.
