Paradise Engineers

Paradise Engineers is located at 324 Hauz Qazi, right opposite the Tanga Stand near Jama Masjid. Working in this part of Old Delhi is unlike anywhere else. It’s incredibly crowded, and the air is always full of the smells of food and the sound of bells and horns. We’ve been in this spot for ages. The building is old, and you can feel the history in the walls. Our workspace is cramped because space is at a premium here, but we’ve learned how to make the most of every inch. We have tools and parts stacked up to the ceiling in some spots. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn’t used to the chaos of Hauz Qazi. We see thousands of people pass by our door every single day. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. We don’t do any advertising; people just know where the Tanga Stand is and they find us. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors while we work. It’s not the most efficient way to spend a day, but it’s how life goes here. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. We just have our shop and our reputation in the market. It’s an honest living in a very busy place. We just try to stay focused despite all the noise outside our door. It works for us being here.
