Amar Sing Company

Amar Sing Company is based out of Chandni Chowk, which is probably one of the busiest places you could choose to run a business. We have been here for years, tucked away in one of the many winding alleys. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling with whatever we happen to be working on at the time. It is not the kind of place you come to for a quiet chat. There is always someone dragging a cart past or a motorcycle trying to squeeze through the gap. We don't bother with much advertising because everyone around here knows Amar Sing Company anyway. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We open up the shutters, pull out the benches, and start our day. The walls are a bit stained and the floor is uneven, but it’s ours. We have seen the market change over the decades, with new shops coming and old ones closing, but we are still here. Sometimes it gets so crowded outside that we can barely see the street, but we just keep doing what we do. There is no corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure things get done. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the long afternoons. If you manage to find your way through the crowd, you will find us busy as usual. We don't offer any frills, just the work we’ve always done.
