Allied Metal Works

Allied Metal Works is based at E-23 in the DSIDC Complex Industrial Area, which is in Sector 3. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you’ll see lots of workshops and factories all around us. Our place is basically a large shed where we do all our metal fabrication and machine work. It’s a loud environment because there is always some kind of cutting, grinding, or welding going on. The floor is made of thick concrete and it’s covered in marks from all the heavy equipment we move around. We don't have a fancy office area with air conditioning. There is just a small wooden desk in the corner where we keep our logbooks and handle the paperwork. It gets really hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, so we keep the big front shutters open for some air. We have a small crew of workers who are skilled with their hands and don't mind getting a bit of grease on their clothes. We aren't looking to impress anyone with how our shop looks. We just focus on making the parts that our customers need. Most of people who come to us are looking for specific custom work that they can't get elsewhere. We’ve been at this same spot in Sector 3 for many years. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place where we just get the metal work done and go home.
