2005Mahoon Engineering Works

We are over near Dhirpur, in the Nirankari Colony. Our shop has been around since 2005, which is why it’s part of our name. We do engineering work, mostly involving metal and machines. It’s a gritty kind of place. There’s always the smell of grease and the sound of metal hitting metal. We aren't a high-tech lab. We are a workshop with lathes, grinders, and a lot of hand tools that have been used for years. The colony is a mix of houses and small shops like ours, so it feels like a real community. We’ve spent a lot of time fixing parts that other people thought were junk. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you just walk into the shop and find us. We might be covered in oil or dust, but that's just part of the job. We don’t bother with fancy advertising because our work usually speaks for itself. People in Dhirpur know us as the place that’s been here forever. We keep our records in a simple notebook and we deal with customers face-to-face. It’s not a polished business, but it’s an honest one. We enjoy the challenge of making things work again. Every day is a bit different, depending on what kind of broken machinery gets brought in. We just keep at it, one job at a time. It's just simple engineering at its core. We've been here too long to change now.
