Triputi Sponge & Steel (Icore Steel)

Triputi Sponge & Steel, which some people know as Icore Steel, is based out in Halisahar. We are in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Dealing with sponge iron and steel is a gritty business. It’s not something you can do in a clean, white-carpet office. Our place is practical and built for the work we do. We’ve been operating in Halisahar for quite a while now. The air around here always smells a bit like industry, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We have our equipment, our logs, and a small team that knows the trade well. We aren't interested in corporate branding or fancy logos. We just want to produce and sell steel. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. We don't have a polished "About Us" page written by a professional. This is just us telling you where we are and what we do. Halisahar is a good place for this kind of work. We’ve built some good relationships with other businesses in the area over the years. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making steel and trying to do a decent job of it for the people who buy from us. It’s a simple, tough business, and we are glad to be a part of it here.
