Sunflag Iron & Steel Co Ltd

Our office is located at 324/B in the Naihati Station Colony. If you know the area, you know it is right near the railway tracks, so the sound of the trains is something we hear all day long. We work for Sunflag Iron & Steel, and this branch handles the local business for the 24 Parganas (North) district. It is a busy place, but not in a corporate way. It’s more of a local hub where there is always a lot of activity and people coming in and out. The building itself is older, and the rooms are filled with the smell of old paper and the occasional whiff of diesel from the station nearby. We don’t have any fancy marketing people here, just a few of us who know the steel industry and how to manage the logs. The humidity in West Bengal can be tough on the equipment and the people, but we’ve got our routine down.
