You can find us over at 81, Sodepur Barasat Road. It’s a pretty long road and we are right in the middle of all the action. Being in the magnet business means we are always dealing with heavy stuff. Our floors are concrete because they have to be, and there is a lot of lifting involved throughout the day. Magnets are interesting things to work with; they stick to everything if you aren't careful, so we have to keep the workspace somewhat clear of stray metal bits. The road outside is always full of lorries and buses moving between Sodepur and Barasat, so it’s never really quiet here. We have a small loading area where we pack things into crates to be sent out. Most of the guys here have strong hands from moving things around all day. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a reception desk with flowers. It’s a working factory through and through. The air smells a bit like metal and packing tape. When the rain comes down hard, it makes a lot of noise on our roof, and we sometimes have to shout to hear each other over the sound. We just get on with it, making sure the orders are ready on time. It’s a simple, honest setup where we focus on the products rather than how the office looks. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors all know us as the magnet people who keep busy every day.
