Glass Consul-Tech

Our office is at C-12, Geetanjali Park, which is part of the 18/3A plot on Kumud Ghosal Road. Glass Consul-Tech is not a massive glass factory; it is more of a place where we handle the technical side and the planning. The space is a bit cramped because we have drawings and glass samples leaning against almost every wall. You have to be careful where you step when you walk through the main room. It is a regular residential-style building that we have turned into our workspace over the years. The light comes in pretty well through the windows in the afternoon, which helps when we are looking at the fine details on a project. We usually have a small radio playing softly in the background just to break the silence. Kumud Ghosal Road can get a bit muddy when it rains, and we are always telling people to wipe their feet before they come inside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, trying to figure out the best way to get a specific job finished. It is a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers. We are not big on formalities here. If you come by, you will probably find us in old clothes, hunched over a desk. It is a simple setup. We know the tea stall guy down the street by name. (243 words)
