Apple Ber Nursery

Apple Ber Nursery is located out in Harinkhola, near the Chakla post office in the Deganga area. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but that is the whole point. We need the space and the fresh air for the plants to grow right. We don't have a fancy storefront or an air-conditioned office. Most of our time is spent out in the dirt, checking on the saplings and making sure everything is getting enough water. It is hard work and your clothes usually end up stained by the end of the day. We are a local nursery and we mostly focus on apple ber, though we have other things too. People in the district know us by name, which is better than any advertisement we could buy. We don't use corporate language or talk about our "vision." We just talk about soil quality and the changing seasons. The road out to Harinkhola can be a little rough during the monsoon, but we stay open regardless. It is a quiet life and we like it that way. If you come visit us in Deganga, don't expect a polished showroom. You will find a bunch of people who love plants and don't mind getting their hands dirty. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down, just tending to the greenery and helping whoever stops by.
