Anubhab Engineering

Out here in Chandpara Bazar, things move at a different pace. We set up Anubhab Engineering right in the heart of the market because that’s where all the action is. If someone’s tractor breaks or they need a custom metal gate, they usually find their way to us. The shop is full of iron scraps, welding machines, and the smell of burnt metal. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but engineering usually isn't. We do a lot of repair work for the local farmers and small businesses in the Gaighata area. My clothes always have some kind of grease or oil on them by midday. It’s a small team, just me and a couple of boys who know how to handle a torch. We don't have a big office or a secretary. If you want to talk business, you just come to the workshop and find me near the lathe machine. Sometimes we’re working late into the night because a customer needs a part fixed for the next morning. The market can be very noisy with all the shops and people shouting, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the metal in front of us. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going. We’ve been in this spot for years and plan to stay. There is always something to weld or a machine to fix, which keeps the days pretty short.
