You can find Vishal Telecom right by the Baroula Main Bus Stand in Sector 49. Because we are near the bus stand it’s always loud and there’s a lot of dust from the road. People are always rushing in and out trying to catch their bus while also trying to get their phone fixed or buy a quick top-up. The shop is small and the fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We have a lot of different phones in the glass cases and stacks of boxes behind us on the shelves. It’s a bit chaotic especially in the mornings when everyone is commuting to work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because of all the fingerprints left by people looking inside. We aren't a big company just a few local guys who know a lot about mobile phones. Sometimes we stay open later if a customer calls and says they are coming from far away. We’ve seen the bus stand change over the years but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. There is a tea stall right next door so we usually have a cup of chai in our hands while we work. It's not a fancy life but it keeps us busy and we like talking to the people who pass through every day. We just take it one customer at a time.
