Raju Marbles

We have our shop, Raju Marbles, over at F-3 in Sector 9. It’s been our home for quite a few years now. The sector is always changing, but we’ve stayed right here. We mostly deal with marble slabs and tiles. If you walk into our place, the first thing you’ll notice is the white dust that covers just about every surface. We’ve stopped trying to fight it a long time ago. It’s just part of the marble business. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing budget. It’s just a small crew of us working every day. We spend hours every morning unloading trucks and stacking pieces against the walls. It’s heavy, tiring work, especially when the heat is up. We don't have a fancy display area. You just have to walk through the stacks to see the different patterns and colors. We know most of the guys who do the tiling work in this part of town. They come by to check what’s new or to pick up stuff for their current jobs. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day when the gates open. Sometimes we get some really nice pieces in, and other times it’s just the standard marble that everyone wants. We try to keep things simple. You come in, look at the stone, and we help you load it up. That’s about it for us at Raju Marbles.
