J K Marbles & Granite is located in the Borola Marble Market, which is part of the main Dadri Market Sector No.49. If you have ever been here, you know it is a maze of stone and tile shops. Competition is everywhere, but we just focus on what we have in our own yard. We spend our time moving slabs around and showing different finishes to anyone who walks in. The market is always crowded, and the noise of cutting machines is something you just get used to after a while. We have been in this spot for a bit, and we know most of the other shop owners around us. Sometimes we help each other out with loading or if someone runs out of a certain material. It’s a tough business because the weight of the marble is no joke, and you have to be smart about how you stack it. We don't have a polished website or a marketing team. It’s just us and the stone. We try to be fair with people and give them the real story on which marble is durable and which one might stain easily. Lunch usually happens on a small table in the back of the shop while we keep an eye on the entrance. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we take it one day at a time. The dust is everywhere, but that’s just part of the market.
