Gopal Marble

You can find us right opposite the Kesar Garden Apartment on Main Dadri Road in Sector-49. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a bit of noise from the passing traffic. We have been in this spot for a good while. Our yard is usually full of marble slabs leaning against the metal frames. It is heavy work, and our clothes usually end up covered in white stone dust by noon. People living in the apartments across the street often walk over just to see what we have in the yard. We do not have a big sales team or anything like that. It is usually just us and a couple of workers who know how to handle the stone without breaking anything. We spend a lot of time measuring things and showing people the difference between various types of marble. Some days we are out back for hours unloading a new truckload that came in from the quarries. It is not a glamorous job, but we like being outdoors and working with our hands. The weather affects us quite a bit; when it rains suddenly, we have to run out and cover everything up fast. We have seen Sector-49 change a lot over the years, with more buildings going up everywhere. We just stay here on Dadri Road, doing what we know. It is honest work, and we try to keep things simple for everyone.
