Rock Exports

We are based at A 53 in Sector 33, under the name Rock Exports. Even though the name sounds like we are a big international company, we are actually just a local yard where we work with stone every day. We’ve been in Sector 33 for quite some time now. The area has built up a lot around us, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Our day is mostly spent out in the yard, moving slabs around and checking the quality of what comes in. We deal with all kinds of rock, and it’s heavy, dirty work. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. Usually, we are just out there in the elements, whether it’s hot or raining. We have a lot of different types of stone stacked up, and it takes a while to get to know where everything is. We don't have a sales team or any brochures. If you want to see what we have, you just come to the yard and we walk you through the aisles. It’s very straightforward. We talk to contractors, architects, and just regular homeowners who need something for their backyard or kitchen. Sometimes the forklift breaks down, and then we really have to work hard to get things moved. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s honest work. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in Sector 33, but we just keep our heads down and focus on the stone.
