Preeyum

Preeyum is over at Sector 26, specifically House No D 114. Since it’s a house, people sometimes walk past it without realizing it’s where we do our work. We use the front two rooms for the business stuff. The rest of the place is just a normal home. It’s pretty quiet in this part of Sector 26, which helps us stay focused. There’s a big tree right outside the gate that drops leaves everywhere in the autumn. We spend a lot of our mornings sweeping the porch before starting. Inside, we have a few computers and a printer that makes a weird clicking sound when it’s warming up. We haven’t bothered to fix it yet because it still works okay. There are about four of us here on a busy day. We don’t have a receptionist, so we just shout if someone is at the door. It’s a very informal setup. We drink way too much coffee and the kitchen is always a bit of a mess with empty mugs. We like being in a residential area because the air feels a bit cleaner than the city center. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try not to make too much noise in the evenings. We’ve been here for a few years and it just feels right. It isn’t a high-rise office with a view, but it’s our space. We handle everything from the mail to the phone calls ourselves. It’s a straightforward way of living and working for us.
