Amit Embrodiery

Amit Embrodiery is found over at K 289 on Kasna Road in Greater Noida. This area has grown a lot lately. Our workshop is a place where there is always the sound of machines or needles moving. It is not a clean, white office. There are threads on the floor and pieces of fabric on every table. We have a few big workbenches where we lay everything out. The lighting is bright because we need to see the small details of the work. It is a very hands-on environment. Kasna Road is usually busy with people moving back and forth to the factories. We don't have a fancy storefront with a big glass window. It is a functional space meant for production. We spend most of our day checking patterns and making sure things are done right. Sometimes the heat in Greater Noida gets quite intense, so we have a few big coolers running to stay comfortable. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make things. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and stories. It is a bit like a second home for us. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write shiny brochures. We just let the work speak for itself. If you come by, you will see us busy with our hands, surrounded by colors and cloth.
