You can find us at B-56 on Street No 4 in Azad Nagar East. We’ve been running the New Allahabad Delhi Transport Company from this little corner for a long time. The street is a bit narrow, so getting the bigger trucks in and out can be a real pain sometimes, but we make it work. Most of what we do is moving goods between here and Allahabad. It’s a long drive and the roads aren't always great, but our drivers know what they're doing. We don't have any shiny new trucks; we just keep the ones we have running well. The office is pretty basic with just a few desks and a lot of old ledgers. We prefer it that way. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and everyone pitches in when there’s a big load to get out. Sometimes we’re here late into the night waiting for a truck to arrive from the highway. Dealing with the weather and the traffic is just part of the job. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. If a truck is going to be late because of a breakdown, we just tell people the truth. It’s better than making up excuses. We’ve built up some good friends around Azad Nagar over the years. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We don't need much more than some hot tea and a clear road to keep us happy.
