Green Roadlines

Green Roadlines is located over in Shahdara East, specifically at Ram Nagar on Subhash Marg 2188. It is a narrow street and things can get a little tight when the bigger trucks try to get close to the door. We have been operating from this little corner for a while now. The office is small and filled with the smell of old paper and ink. We spend our time talking to drivers and figuring out the best routes to take so we don't get stuck in the Delhi traffic more than we have to. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned but we manage to sort it out. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just us doing the daily grind. We know most of the people on the street and they know us. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when the weather is nice just to get a break from the computers. The work is mostly about moving stuff and making sure it doesn't get damaged on the way. We use a lot of ropes and blankets for that. It is physical work and by the end of the day we are usually pretty tired. There is no magic to it. Just showing up and making sure the job gets finished so we can go home and do it again tomorrow. It’s a regular life for us here in Shahdara.
