Neha Telecom

Neha Telecom is located in the Main Market of Barola in Sector 49. It is a very busy street with lots of shops side by side. We are squeezed in between a grocery store and a small tailor. The shop is narrow but deep. We have shelves all the way to the ceiling. Most of the time it is just me and my sister working here. We handle a lot of mobile phone stuff and recharges. People in Barola are always on the move so they want things done quickly. We do our best to keep up. The market gets very loud in the afternoons with all the motorbikes and people talking. I have a small fan behind the counter that helps a little bit when it gets stuffy inside. We keep a lot of spare parts in the drawers in the back. Sometimes it's hard to find a specific battery but we usually manage. We have been in Sector 49 for quite a few years now. The shop sign is a bit crooked but everyone knows it is us. We don't do anything fancy here. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall across the road. It’s a good way to start the day. The market stays open late so we stay here until the crowds start to thin out and the shops around us close up for the night. It is just the way things are in this part of town.
