Mohit Telecom

Mohit Telecom is tucked away in Sector 66, specifically in Village Mamura 2. It’s one of those busy little corners where everyone is always on the move. The shop itself isn't very big, but we have managed to fit a lot of things inside. We’ve got mobile accessories hanging on the walls and a glass counter that’s seen better days. Every morning starts the same way, unlocking the shutter and sweeping out the dirt that blows in from the street. People in Mamura are always stopping by on their way to work to get a quick top-up or to ask about a new cable because their old one stopped charging. We hear a lot of stories from the neighborhood while we work on phones. The chairs are a bit old and the padding is worn out, but they do the job for someone waiting ten minutes. We don’t have any fancy signs or bright lights, just the name of the shop painted above the door. It gets a bit noisy with the bikes passing by constantly. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the engines. We do what we can with the tools we have. Usually, it's just one or two of us here at a time. It’s a long day from morning till late evening, but that’s how it goes in a place like Mamura. We’ve been here long enough that we feel part of the street.
