Mobile Link

We have Mobile Link set up over in Sector 18. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops and people walking around looking at the big malls, but our place is a lot more basic than that. We mostly deal with the small stuff that people lose or break, like power banks, data cables, and screen protectors. The shop is narrow, so we have to use the wall space as much as we can. We’ve hung up dozens of different phone covers on hooks all the way to the ceiling. I usually have a radio playing some old songs in the background while I work. The main problem we face is parking outside, as the street is always full of cars and bikes. Customers often leave their engines running while they hop in to grab a quick charger. We have a small repair bench at the back with a bright lamp where I sit to fix charging ports or swap out batteries. It’s a lot of sitting and staring at tiny parts through a magnifying glass. Sometimes the lights in the shop flicker a little when the air conditioner in the next shop kicks in. We keep a ledger to track the sales, writing everything down by hand. It’s a steady kind of life, seeing people come and go all day in Sector 18.
