Lili Communications

Lili Communications is right here in Sector 63 at Pradhan Market in Wajeedpur. It’s a busy little corner of the world. I spend most of my day looking at small screens or trying to figure out why a SIM card isn’t working. The shop isn't much to look at, just a counter and some chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their recharges to go through. Wajeedpur gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone finishes work. I hear the motorbikes and the people shouting outside all the time. It’s just part of being in Pradhan Market. Sometimes the internet is slow and customers get a bit annoyed, but I just tell them to wait a minute. We deal with all sorts of mobile things. Most people come in because they broke their screen or need a new plastic cover. I keep a lot of cables in the drawers because everyone is always losing theirs. It gets hot in the afternoons, so I usually have a small fan blowing right on me. I’ve lived around here for a while so I know most of the faces that pass by. It’s just a normal shop doing normal work. We don't do anything special, just help people stay connected with their phones. Sector 63 is a lot of offices and factories, so there's always someone looking for a quick fix or a new data plan before they head home. I usually close up around nine.
