Kargil Telecom

This shop in Sector 12 has been our second home for a long time. It is located at number 25 and if you are walking down the main street, you can usually spot our sign easily enough. It isn't a huge place, but we managed to fit everything we need inside the walls. Most days, it is just me and one other guy behind the counter. We spend a lot of time looking at small screens and trying to figure out why a battery won't charge or why a signal keeps dropping. The neighborhood is fairly quiet in the afternoons but picks up when people are heading home from work. We get a lot of locals who just need a quick recharge or a new cable because their dog chewed the old one. There is always a pile of boxes in the corner that we haven't gotten around to organizing yet. It can get a bit messy, especially on Mondays when the new stock arrives. We don't really do anything flashy here. We just have our tools and a few spare parts. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but we are used to it by now. People come in, tell us what is wrong, and we see if we can fix it. If we can't do it, we just say so. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We like being part of the Sector 12 community and seeing the same faces every week.
