J M D Communication is located at Shop No 32 in A Block of South Extension Part I, specifically in the Amrit Nagar area. It’s a small shop in a very busy part of the city. We have a lot of people coming in just to ask for directions or to get a quick recharge on their phones. The space inside is quite narrow so we have to be careful how we move around. There are usually stacks of SIM card packs and various chargers sitting on the glass counter. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Some are in a big hurry and others want to sit and talk while we fix something. The area around Amrit Nagar stays loud until very late. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep the heat away but it doesn't do much when it's really hot out. It’s just the way it is in South Ex. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people know we are here because they’ve been coming to shop 32 for a long time. We spend a lot of time looking at small screens and trying to figure out why a signal isn't working. It’s repetitive but it's what we do. We just try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out in the sun.
