India Stone Tiles

Our shop is tucked away in Hoshiarpur Village, right in the middle of Sector 51. It is not too hard to find us because we are quite close to the McDonald’s and that big Justdial office everyone knows. We have got piles of tiles and stone slabs sitting all over the yard. It is a very practical setup, really. Most of our day is spent moving heavy boxes or showing people different patterns for their floors. Some of the stones are rough and others are smooth, depending on what came in on the truck that week. The village area stays pretty busy with cars and bikes going to the offices nearby. We do not have fancy lights or a big glass front. It is more of a warehouse where you can see the actual stock we have available. We have to handle the tiles carefully since they can break if you are not paying attention. It is a lot of lifting and my hands are usually pretty rough by the end of the shift. The sun hits our yard hard in the afternoon, so we usually take a small tea break then. We have been in this spot for a while and most people just know us by the crates outside. We are not much for talking a lot, we just show what is in the back. It is honest work and we stay busy with the locals and builders.
