Guddu Telecom

If you are walking down Dadri Railway Road, you will probably see us at Guddu Telecom. It’s a busy stretch of road here in Dadri and there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic going by all day long. We spend most of our time inside the shop dealing with whatever comes through the door. Usually, it is someone looking for a new SIM card or maybe they just need to put some money on their phone so they can make a call. We have been sitting here in this same spot for a good bit of time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it because there is always something else to handle first. It’s just a small local business, nothing fancy about it at all. We have a counter and some chairs for people to wait if they need to. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back on while chatting with whoever is around. It is a decent way to spend the day, honestly. You meet all kinds of people from the neighborhood and everyone has a different story. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in with whatever phone problem they have or a recharge they need. There is no point in rushing things, we just take it as it comes.
