Engineer R D Department

Our office is on the second floor at D-55, Sector 49 in Noida. It’s a standard commercial building in a part of town that has grown a lot lately. We are the Engineer R D Department. Since we are up on the second floor, we get a bit of a view of the street, which is mostly just cars and other office buildings. The stairs are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of desks and test equipment. We have wires running across the floor in some places, so you have to watch your step. Noida is always busy, and the energy here is quite high. We do a lot of research and testing on different components. It’s quiet work for the most part, unless we are running a machine. We don't have a fancy breakroom, just a corner with a kettle and some biscuits. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we have lamps for the detailed stuff. It’s a place where we can focus without too many distractions from the outside. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team of us working through the technical problems. We stay until the job is done, which sometimes means late nights. It’s a plain, functional space where we just get things done without any of the extra polish.
