Over in the Barola area of Sector 49, you can find Divya Telecom. It’s a small storefront tucked away in a busy part of Noida. We have glass cases filled with all sorts of mobile phones, some new and some used, plus a lot of different cables and chargers hanging on the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three customers come in at once. We spend our days helping people with their mobile recharges or trying to figure out why a certain app isn't working on their phone. Sometimes the shop gets a bit chaotic with the noise from the street outside and the music we play in the background. We don't have a big corporate staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a SIM card and a soldering iron. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here in Sector 49. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like peeling off old screen guards and cleaning out charging ports with a brush, but it keeps us busy. We don't have any fancy mission statements. Divya Telecom is just a local spot where you can get your phone fixed or buy a cheap pair of headphones. We try to be helpful and we don't charge much for the small things. Most of our regulars are just people living nearby who stop in to say hello or ask a quick question about their data plan.
