Confidence Engineering Works

Confidence Engineering Works is located over in Sector 8 at E 19B. It is a place where there is always the sound of metal being cut or machines humming. If you come by, you will likely see us in our blue shirts, probably with some grease on our hands. We have a few lathes and some old drills that have been with us since the beginning. The floor is usually covered in little metal curls that we sweep up at the end of the day. It is an industrial area, so it gets quite loud with all the neighboring shops doing similar work. We do a lot of small jobs for people who bring in broken parts or need something custom made. I usually spend my time looking at drawings or measuring things with my calipers. It is not a very clean place, but it is where real work happens. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our bills and a very old calculator. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We have been in Sector 8 for a long time now and have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and focus on whatever piece of metal is on the machine that day. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for years. That is how we operate.
