We’re tucked away in Sector-10, at D-193. It’s a quiet enough area for the kind of work we do. Most of our time is spent staring at computer screens, working on drawings and technical designs. It takes a lot of concentration, so we try to keep the office a bit calm. We started A Cad Engineers because we liked the technical side of building things. It’s not just about drawing lines on a screen; it’s about making sure everything fits together right when it actually gets built on site. We have a few computers that have seen better days, but they get the job done. The desks are usually covered in rolls of blueprints and old sticky notes. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep into a difficult project. It’s just how it goes here. People think engineering is all about math, but a lot of it is just common sense and figuring out problems that come up. We talk to contractors and builders a lot. They come by the office to check on progress or change a plan. We keep a pot of tea going most afternoons to stay awake. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any managers. Just a few of us who know how to use the software and understand the local codes. If you walk past D-193, you might see us through the window, probably arguing over a measurement. It’s good work, and it keeps our minds sharp.
