Chronicle Publications

Our office for Chronicle Publications is located at H-118 in Sector-12, Noida. It is a place filled with books, magazines, and a lot of paper. If you walked in, you would see stacks of manuscripts and old copies of our publications everywhere. We have been working out of this U.P. address for a good stretch of time. The staff here mostly spends their day editing text or checking layouts on old monitors. It is a bit cramped because we keep everything we print. The desks are covered in pens and sticky notes. We aren't really the type of place that cares much about interior design. Getting the next issue out on time is the main goal every month. Sometimes the courier guys are coming in and out all day picking up bundles. Sector-12 is a decent area, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you arrive late in the morning. We have a small area where we eat our lunch and talk about things other than work. It is a very lived-in space. You can tell people have been working here for years because of the way the floor is worn down near the main printer. All the usual publishing tasks like proofreading and coordinating with writers happen right here. It is messy and loud when the deadlines are close, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We like being in Noida and having a physical spot where we can actually touch the books we make.
