Bhagwati Telecom

You can find Bhagwati Telecom right at the Main Chowk in Barola. Being in Sector 49 means there is always something happening outside. The traffic at the chowk never really stops. We have been here for a good while. The shop is small and mostly filled with glass cases. We keep phones and various accessories in there. People come in mostly to get their screens fixed or to buy a charger because they lost theirs. It is a simple setup. I sit near the front so I can see everyone coming in. Sometimes the shop gets so full that people have to wait outside on the pavement. I try to work as fast as I can but some repairs take time. The walls could use a new coat of paint but I haven't found the time to move everything out of the way. Barola is a busy area and we are right in the middle of it. I know most of the people who live nearby. They stop by just to say hello even if they don't need anything. My brother sometimes sits in for me when I need to go to the bank or get supplies from the city. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep the shop open as long as the street lights are on. It is a basic life but it suits us well. Some days are slow and we just listen to the radio. That is okay with us.
