Beauty Taj Saloon

You can find us at Shop No 5 on the GT Road in Model Town, Ghaziabad. Being on the GT Road means there is never a quiet moment. The trucks and cars are always passing by. Our saloon is right there in the middle of it. It’s an old shop, and the tiles have a few cracks here and there. We don’t mind. It shows we’ve been working hard. We have some old-style barber chairs that have seen a lot of use. They’re still the most comfortable ones I’ve ever sat in. We get a lot of commuters who stop in because they’re passing through, along with our regulars from Model Town. The lighting is a bit yellow, but it’s enough to see what we’re doing. We do shaves, hair trimming, and a bit of head massage if someone looks stressed. The smell of shaving cream and aftershave is always in the air. We keep a stack of old magazines for people to read, though most just look at their phones now. The front door makes a little jingling sound when you open it. We’ve had that bell for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the GT road traffic gets so loud we have to shout a bit to hear the customers, but it's just how it is. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way.
