Beauty S Man Saloon

Finding Gali No-9 in Pragati Vihar can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here, but once you get to the Main Road in Khora Colony, we are pretty easy to spot. We are near Rajat Vihar, so there is always a lot of movement. This is a man’s saloon, so it’s usually full of guys talking about work or sports. The shop is small, but it works for us. We have the spray bottles lined up and the clippers always plugged in. There is a lot of dust from the main road, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass. Khora Colony is a lively place to be. There’s always someone selling snacks or tea nearby, and the smell of food often drifts into the shop. We don’t have fancy leather chairs, just the standard ones that get the job done. Sometimes we have a queue of five or six people waiting on the wooden bench, especially on Sunday mornings. That’s our busiest time. We try to keep the radio playing so there’s some background noise over the sound of the traffic outside. It’s a local business, run by people who live nearby. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just how it is in Pragati Vihar. People come in, get their hair done, and head back out to the busy street.
