The shop is right there in Choudhary Market on the Main Road in Khora Gaon. It isn't a huge place, but we have enough room for the chairs and for people to wait while they're next. Being near Posta means there is always noise from the street outside, and plenty of people walking by all day. We open up early most mornings. You’ll see us setting things up, cleaning the mirrors, and getting the towels ready. It’s mostly local people from around here who stop in. Some have been coming for years, so we know their names and how they like their hair cut without having to ask much anymore. The fan hums in the corner and we keep the radio on low, usually playing some old songs. Sometimes the market gets really crowded, especially on weekends, and it gets a bit hectic inside. We just keep working through it. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We have the usual tools, the scissors and clippers that have seen a lot of use. We try to keep the place tidy, though hair gets everywhere by noon. It's just a regular part of life here on the Main Road. If you’re passing by the market, you can see us through the front glass. We’re usually busy with someone in the chair, just doing the work day after day. It’s what we do. No big story behind it, just a local spot for a haircut and a chat.
