Amit Telecom

If you walk through Sector 58 in Noida, you will find Amit Telecom at Bishanpura C-4. This part of the city is a mix of old village houses and new office buildings. Because of that, we get a very diverse group of people walking through our doors every day. Some are office workers in suits needing a quick fix, and others are local residents who have lived in Bishanpura for generations. The shop itself is quite simple and we don't spend much on decorations. We have a few shelves for SIM cards and some boxes of batteries stacked in the corner. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep me company when things are slow. During the lunch hour, it gets very busy because everyone comes out of their offices at the same time. I have to work fast to make sure nobody has to wait too long. My desk is covered in screwdrivers and small parts that I’ve taken out of phones. Sometimes I lose a tiny screw and have to spend ten minutes looking for it on the floor with a torch. It’s a bit messy but that’s how I work best. C-4 is a good location because it’s right on the main path people take to get to the main road. We are just a local shop trying to help people with their gadgets in a way that is straightforward and honest. It’s a good way to earn a living.
