Our place is located in Achheja, near Patwari Ka Bagh in Dadri. It’s a local shop where we deal with all sorts of mobile and communication stuff for the community. We’ve got a small counter and some glass cases for the phones we have on display. Most of our work involves helping people with their mobile connections or finding a new handset that fits their budget. The area around Patwari Ka Bagh is quite lively, especially in the evenings when the market gets crowded. We see a lot of local workers and families coming through. I spend a lot of time behind the counter. It’s not a high-end store with air conditioning and glass walls. It’s a practical shop for the people who live nearby. We carry various brands of chargers and batteries because those are always in demand. Sometimes I have to explain how the different plans work to older people who aren't used to smartphones. I don't mind it. It’s part of the job. We open around ten in the morning and stay until late evening most days. My brother helps out when I have to go to the city to pick up new stock or handle some errands. We just try to keep the business running smoothly and serve the folks in Achheja as we are able. It’s a simple life here in Dadri, and we’re glad to have a place where people feel comfortable coming in.
