Smart Hire (Times Group)

We are based over in Sector 37 here in Noida. It is a pretty convenient spot for an office, especially being so close to the metro station and the main roads that run through the city. Smart Hire is technically part of the Times Group, but this specific office doesn't feel like you are working at a giant media company. It is much more low-key and quiet than that. We focus on hiring and recruitment, mostly for people who are looking for work within the local area. The office setup is pretty basic—just some computers and a small meeting room that we use when we need to sit down and talk to candidates. There is almost always someone coming in for an interview or someone on the phone checking on the status of their application. It can get a bit loud in here when everyone is talking at once, but that is just how the recruitment business is. We don't have any fancy coffee machines or a break room; we just use the electric kettle in the corner for our tea. The neighborhood around Sector 37 has some really good food spots, so we usually head out for a quick lunch around 1:00 or so. We don't have a lot of strict corporate rules about how we have to talk or act with each other. We just try to be helpful to the people who walk through our door looking for a job. It is a lot of matching resumes to job descriptions and hoping for a good outcome. We have been in this sector for a while and we like the rhythm of the work.
