Scalingheights Consultant is located at 936/C, near the P & T Workshop, Gate No-4 in Jabalpur. It’s a very specific part of town, right near the workshop where things are always moving. You can hear the sounds of the industrial area nearby, which gives the place a busy feeling even when we’re just sitting inside. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some metal cupboards for filing and a couple of sturdy desks. It gets quite hot in Jabalpur, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are filled with water and running well. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because a lot of dust comes in from the road outside. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address and our name. Most of the people who come by are locals who know the area well. We spend our days going through records and talking to people on the phone. It’s not a quiet job; there’s always something happening at Gate No-4 that we can see from the entrance. We have a small stove in the corner for making tea, which is a staple for us. It’s an honest place where we work hard and don't worry about being fancy. The building is older, but it serves its purpose well for what we do every day. We usually end up staying late to finish the logging because the afternoon heat slows everything down.
